Me and two of my friends set out on a quick getaway to Dwarka to try out the caravan-ing experince. Once en route, we chose ‘Britney Vs Spears’ for viewing (which a particular member snored away), whipped up sweet and spicy udon noodles for sustenance, and played Bananagrams for keeping all fatigue at bay. 10 hours in, we reached a remote beach on the western tip of Gujarat (Blue Flag beach, Dwarka) where stunning white-sand, lilting waves, and rocky outcrops greeted us with all their sodium-filled glory. We spent a long afternoon reading, watching the high tide crash and fold at the shore, and munching on watermelon and crackers. For the way back, watching another travelogue of friends made sense (Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara) while eating ramen.
As a finale to the trip, we finally slept. Safe to say, the experience lived-up to every expectation we had of van-life and more!
